Josette earned her Master's degree in Nutritional Sciences and completed her Dietetic Internship through Brooklyn College. In addition to being a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), she has successfully completed the requirements to become a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Josette has over 10 years of experience working with patients who have diabetes, pre and post natal women, and patients with cardiovascular diseases. She is currently on staff at Morristown Medical Center.

The training, counseling and support that diabetes educators provide to patients is known as diabetes education or diabetes self-management training (DSMT).
